St. Joseph’s charitable society established the hospital at Kakkinje in 1978 by CMI Fathers with the aim of uplifting the poor society and during that time we provided healthcare services to several surrounding villages.
To achieve this goal we did serve in the areas of health, education, social upliftment, women empowerment, national integrity to this region. In the view of extending our services to general public with allopathic treatment we have restructured the hospital and started again.

Nursing and Midwifery
Course
- Programme Duration: 2 yrs including practical & Theory
- Intake: 60 Seats
- Eligibility Criteria: 10th Std ( Minimum) , 40% marks
- Age: Min age 16 yrs , Max Age 40ys
- Admission of students once in a year
- BSC Courses starting shortly
Nursing Course in Germany and German Language training course
- Nursing Course in Germany Duration: 3 years
- German Language training in India: 9 months
2 months free basic nursing course after B2 Level - Intake: 300, 150 in Kakkinje , Mangalore and 150 in Kottayam
- Eligibility Criteria: Min qualification : 12th std with 60% marks in any stream
